Each of us can have a mighty change in our lives as we hold true to the gospel of Jesus Christ and as we have a desire to change. As our hearts change, we can change. What do you need or want to change in your life?
Do you ever wonder which way to turn? Do you ever wonder if you will ever turn the right way? Do you want your life to change? Jesus Christ is the way.

Here’s something to think about as the new year approaches…
“The Future is as bright as your faith.” -Thomas S. Monson
Do you receive your king? Have you received Him? How do you show this? What makes you different now from when you did not fully receive Him?
At Christmas time many are caught up in the gifts of Christmas, the commercialization of the whole season. Christmas is more than a marketing and business scheme. It is more than gifts under the Christmas tree. Christmas time is a time for each of us to celebrate the wonderful gift we have been given: the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
We can allow the commercialization of Christmas to consume us or we can hold on to our belief in the Savior and allow all things to testify that there is a Christ. All things truly do testify of this.
As I was driving yesterday, I would awe and the beauty and majesty of the mountains and the sunset across the plains. What wonderful creations. The Lord does love us. His life is the most precious gift we could ever receive. Let us look to the light.
After watching this short video clip, I really thought about if I was prepared and peaceful about meeting my maker. Have I lived my life in such a way that followed His precepts… If I have made mistakes along the way, which I have, have I repented of them and been made white through the blood of the Lamb? Am I living my life now as a disciple of Christ?
I know that as I follow the Lord and His commandments and His prophets, I am filled with peace and I have no need to fear. The Lord is there for me. His Spirit is my constant companion. Perhaps this video will make you think more about your life as well and what you can do to better follow God.
Hope and Faith can cause miracles to happen
Hope is often what causes us to change. Without hope we really would have no reason to change. If we did not hope for a better self or a promotion, etc., we would not change the way that we lived.
If we did not hope for forgiveness after we committed sins, we would not have as much or perhaps any real desire to repent and change into a better person.
Hope is necessary for us to look past the mundane of today and see a light for tomorrow.
There are times where you may feel that there is no hope. I know that I have felt that way before dealing with depression. It did not seem like it would ever go away or that I would ever be myself again. There really was no light at the end of the tunnel for me… There did not even seem to be an end to the tunnel. The tunnel just kept getting deeper and darker.
No matter how low we are though, the Lord can lift us up. It is through our Savior that we can have hope. It is because of Him that we are able to have light in our lives. He lifts us out of the deepest holes, tunnels, and sorrows.
When we have felt of His redeeming love, our whole souls are engulfed with enlightenment. We are ‘on fire’ to do His will and to live in such a way that would be pleasing to Him. I could never do enough to thank my Savior for the great love and mercy He has extended to me. But He accepts my actions as sufficient. I know that He loves me for I am His child. You are too. He does not leave us alone. He is there waiting for us to come to Him. There is a light and He is that light.
