It Takes an Act of Faith

There have been times in my life when I have felt encompassed in darkness.  I have also reached the point where I have wanted and even tried to end my life… but somehow, I am still here.  I am still needed, as are you.  You are needed.  The Lord needs YOU on HIS side.

Is this ever how you feel?

Is this ever how you feel?

If you have enough faith, then you can handle difficulties.

After All We Can Do…

Christ is there to help us and we are saved by Him, by His grace, after all we can do. That implies action on our part. It is important for us to act and to also believe in Christ that He can save us. I love this scripture from the Book of Mormon from 2 Nephi 25:23, which states:

“We labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do.”

How wonderful!  We are saved after all we can do.  We do our part and the Lord makes up the rest.  He is there for us.  He will make up our shortcomings.  I love Him so very much.  I have felt Him make up my shortcomings and my weaknesses as I do all that I can to make them better myself.  But I know I could never do it without Him.

Do you ever get tired of work?  Do you ever get tired of doing things over and over again and not seeming to get anywhere?  I surely do.  So what do we do when this happens to us?  Do we give into the feelings of doubt and despair or do we rely on our Savior to help lift us out with hope and faith?

Sometimes all it takes is a simple song or a prayer to our Father in Heaven and He will bless us in ways more than we can know.

He recently blessed me by having me move back home and get a job at the bank here in town as a bank teller.  I have been blessed in more ways than just this in coming back home.  Now… let us come back home together.

God knows what He wants us to be… sometimes we have tears on our side.

Oh Come, Emmanuel

I hope this video touches you as it touched me.  God is real and He is there for you.  Christ lives!  What a wonderful message.

What thinks Christ of Me?

I am sure you have often wondered as I have how the Savior truly feels about you?  Have you thought about how you truly feel about the Savior?  I love these words from an apostle of the Lord:
