Marriage

Is your heart open to feel God's love?

Is your heart open to feel God’s love?

Is your marriage sick?  Does it need healing?  What are you doing to help it?  “If we seek Him, the Lord will help us and heal us.”

A New Year

How do your closest friends make you feel?

How do your closest friends make you feel?

Each new year we have the opportunity to make new goals for ourselves.  Perhaps this year we can work on the relationships we have with others.  How are you treating your spouse? friends? children? co-workers?  Do you see something in them that is not quite right?  Are you looking through clean windows as you look at them?

Strong Marriages

Here is a video interview discussion about having strong marriages.  Perhaps you would find it enlightening:

What do you seek?

What do you seek after in your life?  What do you wish you would seek after?

I love this song by Jenny Phillips.  I think it sheds light on this subject.  I hope you enjoy:

We Believe in Doing Good

In the Articles of Faith for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the 13th verse states:

aWe believe in being bhonest, true, cchastedbenevolent, virtuous, and in doing egood to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we fhopeall things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able togendure all things. If there is anything hvirtuousilovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things

Do you believe in doing good to all men and women as well?

Comfort

While I was going through some extremely rough times in my life that made me feel like I no longer wanted to exist, I loved turning to my God for comfort through the scriptures.  I love this verse found in the Book of Mormon in 2 Nephi 8:12:

“I am He, yea I am He that comforteth you. Behold who art thou, that thou shouldst be afraid of men, who shall die, and of the son of man, who shall be made like unto grass?”

I know that you too can find comfort in the scriptures if you allow the spirit of the Lord to touch your hearts.

What Matters Most

What is Important? What is Not?

How do you live your life?  What is most important to you? Do you fill your life with those things?
